If you are having issues with AVG Admin, one thing you need to check is the size of the database. If it is particularly large you may find you are subject to one of the ‘memory leak’ versions.
To check the size of the AVG 9.0 Firebird Database, the first thing you need to do is figure out where the database lives. The default path on a Windows 2003 Server is C:Program FilesAVGAVG9 AdminServerAVGDB.FDB
If you cannot find it here, find out it’s path path by opening AVG Admin > Tools > AVG Admin Sever Settings > DataCenter Tab. You’ll find the path shown on this window.
On a small business network you should find the database is nor more than a few hundred megabytes on size.
